This may be unpopular.

I'm all for reducing cruelty to animals, and if people are going to go on eating them, I would rather the animals being raised for food were treated well, but:

If you're really worried about the way the animals are being treated on these megafarms, stop eating them. I don't get it when someone who buys dead animals to eat is concerned about the way they were treated before death, but not concerned about the actual death. Take some responsibility. They're in the farms because people keep buying meat.
