Progress report

70 Days of Sweat, Day Five: 1,000 words.

Total: 5,200 words.

Current story novelette: 8,400 words. I'm getting closer to a conclusion with this one, but it's going to need major rewriting to get everything woven together well. I'm going to let the rough drafts I write during the challenge just rest until the challenge is over, and then I'll have the objectivity to edit them. Which means no more *finished* output until at least May, but probably better finishing once I do it.

In other news: I might as well share my political views, eh? I'm for Obama. I think he would do good things. I think we need someone who can inspire something hopeful in people, without the kind of baggage that Hillary Clinton comes with, but, that said, if she gets the nomination I'll vote for her, because she's a competent politician and a democrat. I would have strongly preferred a less combative campaign, and I really don't care for the negative ads Clinton's side has sent to my mailbox, but. A democrat. I just want a democrat to be President.
