Progress report

70 Days of Sweat, Day Forty: 1,000 words.

Total: 33,300 words.

Current short story (untitled): 1,000 words.

In other news: I had that chat with Helmut! That was *cool.* It made me want to post a "wanted" list of all of my friends from the past, in case they ever Google themselves, so that they can contact me. I just might do it one of these days.

Evaluation mode activated: This writing challenge is going really well. The rough drafts are piling up. The only problem is that with my current schedule, I don't have much time to do revisions after I've written my 1,000+ new words for the day; however, the point of the challenge is to write rough drafts of a book's worth of short stories, and that is what I'm doing. I think that I'll do tiny bits of revision as I can until the challenge is over, and then temporarily cut back to 500 new words a day, until the revisions for this batch are done. I don't want to stop writing new stuff, but I need to get the stories finished and in the mail, so that should be a good balance.
