Books & Stories I read in August, 2009

1. Wastelands, by John Joseph Adams. Science fiction and (a little bit of) fantasy anthology.

(Published stories read a la carte from magazines and websites, not including ones from anthologies, collections, or slush).

1. "Erased" - Elena Gleason; Fantasy Magazine
2. "A Word Without Ghosts" - Paul Jessup; Fantasy Magazine
3. "Cuckoo" - Emma Bull, Elizabeth Bear, & Leah Bobet; Shadow Unit

I actually read a lot more than this last month, but the other anthologies I picked up were long ones, so I didn't finish any of them. There are so many amazing short stories out there in anthologies and collections!
