Planning my cons for the year

At this point I'm planning to show up at NorwesCon, OddCon, Mo*Con, Context, and World Fantasy in 2010. Which conventions will you attend? Let me know if we'll be in the same place and you want to make plans.

I plan to be at The Write Stuff Conference (Philadelphia) at the end of March, and PhilCon (New Jersey) which, I think, is at the end of November.

Chemo will keep me away from NorwesCon. Fan politics will likely keep me away from WFC. So sounds like we'll whiff... :\

I would love to hang out with you! We can work on the details of who buys whom the cup of coffee later. ;) James and I haven't decided on plans for that weekend yet, but email closer to the time and I'll be able to tell you when I'll be around. (I'm starting to feel more tempted to go to Wiscon after all, with all of the cool people who are popping up to say they'll be there!).

ComiCon! COMICON!!

San Diego is a short 90-minute drive, so it's practically a given. Sadly, no other Cons, but there's always The (Rhinebeck) New York State Sheep and Wool Festival with all my knittin' peeps from Ravelry.com in September, maybe!

(Long story... I don't knit. But I just learned to spin! Been to to Rhinebeck two years in a row, now!)

Well, now I'm increasingly tempted to go to Wiscon, what with the friends who are planning to show up, but I'll have to see what James wants to do that weekend. But WFC is on! And this time we must schedule a time to hang out. :)

OddCon, Wiscon, and WFC, for sure. I may try to branch out and hit another one somewhere, too.

Sadly, on account of last year's joblessness, I think Norwescon is not going to happen this year.
